DATA CONTROLLER OR PROCESSOR ROLES
Depending on the circumstances, Farm Shield may act as a data controller (responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing your personal information) or as a data processor (processing information on behalf of another entity). We are committed to fulfilling our obligations under the Privacy Act in both roles, including ensuring that any third parties processing information on our behalf do so in accordance with our privacy and security standards.

DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION
In the event of a data breach that likely results in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable, and no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme. We will also take steps to mitigate any potential harm.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time and place any updated version of the Privacy Policy on our website. Please review our Privacy Policy and Website periodically for changes.
